Son of Frederick & Dorothy Ball, Leederville Western Australia

Alfred Ball was killed on the 10/4/45 when his Halifax "V" NA240 crashed into a small village named Zaasch near Delitzsch Germany whilst on route to Leipzig for special duties. Rear Gunner Max Hibberd was the only crew member to survive, those killed were Murray Frank, Neil Evans, John Tait, Fred Brooks, Ron Taylor, John Heggarty.
